The result is unbelievable, yet easily doable by anyone.

quarters and have the spectator sign its face. Once the card is
signed, you tear it into two, then four pieces. The pieces are
clearly separate from each other. You place two of the pieces
between your lips and hold the other two at your fingertips.
With no possible funny business, you restore the two pieces you
were holding in your hands, leaving nothing to hide or add!
Take the third piece at your fingertips, and as
impossible as it seems, it becomes fused with the rest of the
card as you simply hold it in place -- an impossible and very
visual restoration. Now bring the card with the missing
corner to your lips and the spectators will see the last piece
melt into place in full view! Show your hands empty, which they
really are, and don't forget to return the card to the spectator,
who will confirm that the card is indeed the one he signed.

Hands Off (Any card at any number) by Patrick redford.
What They Say
Using his original effect Auspicious Coincidence as a jumping off point (Mendacity, 2005), Redford has taken his Any Card at Any Number to a whole new level.
Someone names (really) any card, another (really) any number. The performer asks if it would be impressive if that card were found at that number in the deck of cards he's been holding with a death grip. The audience of course agrees, but the performer admits it wouldn't be very impressive as he's been holding onto the deck the entire time and could have done something sneaky. What would be more impressive is if that card was found at that named position in a deck of cards that the performer's gone no where near. Better yet, its been in full view since before the effect began.
The closed box is tossed to an audience member who opens the box, removes the cards, and counts them one at a time face-up to find the named card at the exact named position.

What I Say
Well let me begin by saying the ACAAN plot is a very interesting one and a large percentage of the methods I have seen suffer from many different draw backs, mainly because of the Grail status that has been applied to the effect. I believe with careful audience management and control you could get the audience to remember the effect meeting all the grail criteria. Off all the methods I have seen in regards to this effect Mr. Redford's handling and routining is one of the best I have seen. The only draw back is that two deck's are used however in the presentation this is handled very effectively by adding an other hurdle in the audience's mind.
As for the effect the method that Patrick explains is very clever, and it is not just magic for magician's clever. This effect is incredibly practical and perfectly routined. Throughout the explanation Patrick not only talks about what is happening but also why it is happening, he also talks about the staging of the of the effect and how to hide the gaffs. I found this to be both useful and showing that Patrick has defiantly worked this effect in the real world. Patrick gives both a stage and parlor handlings completed with their own subtleties and staging.
In each handling Patrick gives three different ways to set up the deck. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. But the add copy that has been put out is 100% accurate, in one of the arrangements. One of the arrangements fails one criteria and the other falls into a grey area with into two of them. Truthfully though these techniques fail on the add copy notes they are still very good methods and make the overall effect is much easier in the long term if you use one of the other methods. I know that this was cryptic and I will happily answer all questions in a private message.

One advantage of impromptu versions that the set up ones has is the advantage of the spectator shuffling the cards. So all in all these handlings are very good, the method is very clever and practical. Even though you use a red and blue deck I would only use this as a stand alone effect and it is not very practical for table hopping. It is more of an effect that requires the audience to come to you.

Digital dissolve - BJ bueno
A half dollar is placed into a spectator's closed hand. You rest a copper English penny on the back of that same hand. In the blink of an eye and without warning, the copper coin visually changes into the silver half dollar.
The half dollar is immediately shown on both sides. The spectator then slowly opens their hand to reveal the English penny. Both coins can be immediately handed out for full examination.

A card is selected and signed.
You explain: Your "secret" is a small "CRIMP" you put in the card so you can find it.
You demonstrate: Your "CRIMP" is actually a hilariously large chunk that you tear off of the corner of their signed card.
You explain: This "CRIMP" allows you to cut to their selection "just by feeling for the missing part".
You confess: There's one small problem with your method... sometimes a spectator with "a highly trained eye" will notice the extra piece. With this, you pick up the torn chunk of card from the table and place it on top of the spectator's signed card.
You give the deck a couple of tiny shakes to position the CHUNK into place. As you wipe your thumb over the tear, the card is VISUALLY restored.
Immediately hand your spectator their signed card. It's COMPLETELY RESTORED.
Now take a moment to relax and enjoy and bathe in love. You're completely re-set for the next table.

Astral Projection
Astral Projection Travel adalah suatu keadaan di mana jiwa kita melakukan perjalanan sendiri ke tempat lain, terpisah dari tubuh kita. Tapi ini bukan suatu mimpi, karena jika ditilik, jiwa kita benar-benar berada di tempat lain tersebut, dan bisa melakukan suatu aktivitas di sana.
Cara melakukan Astral Projection :
WARNING : Metode Astral Projection di bawah ini hanya bisa diterapkan pada diri sendiri. Membuat orang lain melakukan "Astral Projection" seperti yang dilakukan oleh Joe Sandy mustahil untuk dilakukan, atau memerlukan kemampuan yang sangat tinggi.
Metode Astral Projection :
1. Anda harus berada dalam kondisi "relaksasi yang sangat dalam". Maka berbaringlah, dan mulailah untuk mengencangkan, lalu meregangkan otot-otot anda, mulai dari otot kaki hingga otot wajah. Tenangkan pikiran anda, pejamkan mata anda, tapi jangan tidur.

3. Pada poin ini, ada dua hal yang harus anda perhatikan. Tubuh anda yang asli, dan tubuh astral anda. Jika anda merasa bahwa tubuh asli anda semakin berat dan semakin berat, inilah saatnya untuk membentuk tubuh astral anda. Bentuk tubuh astral anda dengan membayangkan benda-benda yang sangat ringan seperti gelembung sabun atau bulu. Rasakan benda-benda tersebut mulai naik ke atas, meninggalkan tubuh anda. Rasakan bahwa anda akan melayang ke atas, dan menjadi sangat-sangat ringan.
4. Anda dinyatakan berhasil mencapai tahap ini jika berhasil menciptakan suatu "infra merah", yang membuat segalanya yang sebelumnya gelap gulita mulai tampak detailnya. Anda mungkin akan merasa berada di sebuah ruang yang disinari cahaya ungu. Teruslah berkonsentrasi, buat cahaya-cahaya yang menerangi ruangan jauh lebih terang dari sebelumnya. Cobalah untuk berkonsentrasi pada suatu objek yang anda bayangkan ada di ruangan tersebut, misalkan bulan atau gambar. Jika berhasil, mata anda akan terasa sangat berat dan terpejam, namun anda tetap melihat segalanya dengan sangat jelas. Pada tahap ini, jangan kaget jika saat melihat ke bawah, anda menemukan tubuh anda sedang tertidur lelap. Jika hal ini sudah terjadi, selamat! Astral Projection anda telah berhasil.
Fakta seputar Astral Projection :
- Astral Projection sangat jarang langsung berhasil pada percobaan pertama. Biasanya seorang "Astral Projector" profesional pun memerlukan 2 sampai 3 kali percobaan.
- Penghalang terbesar suksesnya Astral Projection sebenarnya adalah alam sadar anda, yang tanpa anda sadari selalu mencoba mencegah terbelahnya tubuh anda ke tubuh nyata dan tubuh astral.

Penjelasan Ilmiah
Teori Fisika Kuantum Modern (Masih menjadi perdebatan antar ilmuwan) :
*Sinar-sinar photon yang dipancarkan melalui suatu medium tertentu tidak selamanya penuh, namun kadang terputus-putus. Hal ini sebenarnya membuktikan bahwa ada interferensi dari sinar-sinar photon di dimensi waktu yang berbeda.
*Konsep ini pun berkembang ke teori tentang benda yang lebih padat. Beberapa orang menganggap bahwa waktu bukanlah sesuatu yang linear. Artinya, tidak ada "masa lalu", "masa kini", "masa depan", "kehidupan", ataupun " kematian". Sebenarnya, ada BANYAK DIRI KITA yang hidup dalam berbagai dimensi dalam waktu yang bersamaan.
*Ibaratnya sebuah dokumen yang dikirim via fax ke tempat lain, sebenarnya kita selama ini hanya melakukan "perjalanan antar dimensi", dari masa kecil hingga saat ini. Perjalanan ini akan terus berputar dalam satu siklus. Seperti dokumen yang dikirim lewat mesin fax, dokumen aslinya tidak pernah hancur dan masih bisa difax-kan lagi ke tempat lain.
*Artinya, para ilmuwan tersebut ingin mengatakan bahwa sebenarnya kematian itu tidak ada. Kita memang mati di satu dimensi, namun di dimensi-dimensi yang lainnya kita akan terus hidup, dan terus melakukan perjalanan antar dimensi.
Pendapat saya : Walaupun teori ini cukup menarik, namun sebagai umat beragama yang percaya pada dogma "hari pembalasan setelah kematian"; saya tidak mau mempercayai teori Fisika Kuantum Modern tersebut.

Apa saja yang bisa kita lakukan dalam kondisi Lucid Dream?
Sangat banyak dan bervariasi. Kita bisa mencoba apapun dan menjadi apapun di alam mimpi. Pengalaman paling umum adalah merasakan terbang dari satu tempat ke tempat lainnya. Ada pula penjelajahan ke dimensi lain, interaksi dengan orang-orang yang ada di alam bawah sadar anda (subconscious) dan lain-lain. Ada 3 kategori Lucid Dreamer, dan berikut adalah hal-hal yang bisa dialami :
A. Tingkat Pemula
Berjalan menembus tembok, menggambar di langit, terbang di angkasa, menjelajah dunia mimpi.
B. Tingkat Menengah
Makan, berkencan atau bertemu tokoh-tokoh yang selama ini hanya ada dalam imajinasi anda seperti artis, olahragawan, politikus, pahlawan, tokoh kartun, dan lain-lain.
C. Tingkat Ahli
Berhubungan seksual, merasakan kehidupan setelah mati, mendapatkan inspirasi untuk diterapkan ke dunia nyata (contoh : ide untuk menulis buku, membuat film, dan sebagainya)
Adakah dampak negatif Lucid Dream?
Selama tidak dilakukan secara berlebihan, tidak ada dampak fisik negatif dari Lucid Dream. Beberapa kasus stres mungkin muncul jika Lucid Dream anda bersifat mengerikan atau menakutkan. Dalam kasus lucid dream yang akut, beberapa orang mungkin kehilangan motivasi di dunia nyata karena mereka merasa bisa mendapatkan apapun di dunia mimpi. Satu hal yang anda harus ingat, segala hal dalam Lucid Dream hanyalah mimpi, tidak ada yang berupa kenyataan.
Tahapan dan Langkah-Langkah Lucid Dream
1. Tidur dalam kondisi serileks mungkin. Dengan pakaian longgar dan santai.
2. Kontrol pernafasan dan konsentrasi. Cobalah untuk memperlambat pernafasan, namun tetap berkonsentrasi ke organ-organ tubuh anda, mulai dari ujung rambut hingga ujung kaki
3. Jaga pikiran tetap sadar, namun santai. Jika anda berusaha tersadar namun tidak santai, anda tidak akan bisa tertidur. Berusahalah untuk melakukan hal-hal yang bisa membuat anda tetap sadar dalam kondisi rileks, seperti menghitung domba atau membayangkan diri anda naik turun tangga.
4. Sleep Paralysis. Kondisi ini adalah tahapan utama ke arah Lucid Dream. Ini adalah tahap di mana sering disebut sebagai "tindihan". Anda mungkin akan merasa ditindih oleh sesuatu yang sangat berat, susah bernafas, tubuh serasa berputar dan terlempar. Ingat, jangan terbangun saat mencapai tahap ini. Jika anda bangun karena merasa ketakutan, Lucid Dream anda akan gagal.
5. Black Out. Periode transisi di mana anda merasa memasuki ruang hitam kelam. Akan berlangsung selama beberapa saat, dan sekali lagi jangan sampai terbangun.
Nah, setelah melewati tahapan ini, anda akan mulai merasakan suatu sensasi, entah berupa penglihatan atau suara, yang intinya berarti anda telah memasuki dunia mimpi dan siap untuk menjelajahinya. Ingat, jangan mengeluarkan emosi terlalu ekstrim, seperti terlalu bahagia, terlalu marah, atau terlalu takut, karena hal-hal tersebut bisa membuyarkan Lucid Dream. Intinya hanya satu, tetap konsentrasi.
Cara Mendapatkan Lucid Dream
Jadi, bagaimana anda bisa mengalami Lucid Dream?
Intinya adalah dua hal : Mengetahui dan menyadari bahwa anda sedang di dunia mimpi dan terus menerus mengecek kesadaran anda.
1. Cek realitas dan kesadaran anda juga kenali tanda-tanda mimpi
Cobalah untuk membiasakan diri mengecek realita dan kesadaran anda, bahkan ketika anda tidak sedang bermimpi. Tanyakan ke diri anda sendiri : Apakah saya bermimpi? Contohnya adalah memastikan jarum jam tetap berjalan, atau mengecek gaya gravitasi. Jika anda melakukan hal tersebut di dalam mimpi, akan terjadi suatu keanehan (misal, di dunia mimpi jarum jam tidak berjalan, ada kemungkinan benda-benda terbang melawan gravitasi). Nah, jika keanehan tersebut terjadi dan anda menyadarinya, selamat anda telah mengalami Lucid Dream dan bisa mulai menjelajah mimpi.
2. Ingatlah mimpi anda
Cobalah untuk mengingat setiap mimpi anda, dan catat mimpi-mimpi anda dalam buku catatan setelah anda mengalaminya. Teknik ini disebut dengan pembuatan jurnal mimpi.
3. Berusaha bangun di tengah tidur anda
Waktu terbaik adalah menjelang pagi, di mana anda masih memiliki cukup waktu untuk melanjutkan tidur anda. Setelah terbangun, minum banyak air putih, berusahalah mengingat mimpi anda sebelumnya, dan lanjutkan tidur.
4. Visualisasi dan Sugesti
Sebelum tidur, bayangkan berbagai hal-hal fantastis seperti terbang di angkasa, melukis di atas awan, atau hal-hal lainnya. Lalu katakan pada diri anda sendiri berulang-ulang "Saya akan mengalami Lucid Dream dan mencatatnya dalam jurnal mimpi.
5. Dengarkan gelombang musik untuk mempermudah proses Lucid Dream

6. Sabar dan terus berlatih

Satu hal lagi yang perlu diingat, ada batasan-batasan dalam Lucid Dream. Anda mungkin bisa mengontrol mimpi, namun tidak 100% karena bagaimanapun, mimpi adalah sebuah dimensi lain dari kehidupan anda.

Trik : Sebenarnya ini adalah trik yang menggunakan teknologi. Sulap ini takkan bisa terjadi jika pesulap atau penonton menyentuhkan jempolnya pada situs google yang asli yaitu http://www.google.com . Karena trik ini menggunakan situs google yang palsu yaitu http://darkartsmedia.com/Google.html
Cara : Pada saat jari jempol pesulap menutupi kedua huruf 'oo' pada 'google', tanpa disadari orang lain pesulap ngeklik kiri (kliknya dimana saja), lalu dengan seketika huruf 'oo' pun menghilang, lalu untuk mengembalikannya kembali pesulap cukup mengklik kiri satu kali lagi dimana saja. Dan dengan seketika huruf 'oo' pun kembali muncul. Dan jika pesulap menekan klik kiri sekali lagi maka situs google yang palsu berubah menjadi situs google asli. Sehingga ketika orang lain iang ingin memeriksanya akan melihat situs google yang asli. Selamat mencoba !!

Dan dengan seketika huruf 'oo' pun kembali muncul. Dan jika pesulap menekan klik kiri sekali lagi maka situs google yang palsu berubah menjadi situs google asli. Magic Square
Permainan Magic Square ini sangat cocok dilakukan, terutama dalam sebuah ruangan yang menyediakan papan tulis. Selain itu, permainan ini juga bias digunakan untuk menghibur orang dalam jumlah banyak, misalnya dalam sebuah bus sewaktu diadakan tour. Permainan ini sering dimainkan oleh Master Sulap Indonesia seperti Deddy Corbuzier dan Joe Sandy.
Sekedar informasi, permainan Magic Square ini juga dikenal dengan sebutan Extreme Sudoku. Dibeberapa Negara Magic Square biasa dikenal sebagai kotak ajaib. Di mana, angka acak yang diberikan oleh seseorang memiliki jumlah sama pada bagian baris, kolom, diagonal, dan sudut.
Cara bermain :
1. Anda siapkan sebuah kotak kosong seperti gambar berikut ini :
2. Mintalah angka acak kepada teman antara 25 hingga 100. Misalnya, teman Anda memilih angka 37
3. Lalu, isi kotak kosong tersebut dengan angka-angka berikut ini :
4. Tunjukan kepada teman bahwa semua angka di bagian horizontal berjumlah 37
5. Tunjukan kepada teman bahwa semua angka di bagian vertical berjumlah 37
6. Tunjukan kepada teman bahwa semua angka di bagian diagonal berjumlah 37
7. Tunjukan kepada teman bahwa semua angka di bagian kotak disudut berjumlah 37
8. Tunjukan kepada teman bahwa semua angka di tiap sudut berjumlah 37
9. Tunjukan kepada teman bahwa semua angka di bagian kotak di tengah berjumlah 37
10. Tunjukan kepada teman bahwa semua angka di bagian kotak 3x3 dari sudut kotak juga berjumlah 37
11. Tunjukan kepada teman bahwa semua angka di bagian kotak tengah atas dan samping juga berjumlah 37

Rahasianya :
Berawal dari kotak kosong yang Anda sediakan di awal tadi.
Masukkan angka-angka berikut ini ke dalamnya.
Hal yang perlu Anda lakukan adalah mengisi dengan angka-angka seperti di atas. Namun, bagian yang kosong A, B, C, dan D harus dihitung sesuai dengan angka pilihan teman.
Pada kasus sebelumnya, teman memilih angka 37
Maka, kurangi 37 dengan 21
37 - 21 = 16.
Masukkan itu pada kotak A.
A = jumlah yang dicari - 21
Tambahkan 1 untuk kotak B (A + 1 = B).
16 + 1 = 17
Tambahkan 1 lagi untuk kotak C (B + 1 = C).
17 + 1 = 18
Tambahkan 1 lagi untuk kotak D (C + 1 = D).
18 + 1 = 19
Apabila nilai A, B, dan C dimasukkan, hasilnya akan seperti ini :
supaya tidak ketahuan, Anda bisa menggunakan modifikasi lain sewaktu memainkan permainan ini.
Caranya sama, hanya saja lokasi atau titik untuk penempatan angkanya yang berbeda.

Langkah Sukses Menjadi Pesulap
Sulap merupakan bentuk seni pertunjukan yang sangat menakjubkan dan sudah berumur ribuan tahun (wah, dah tua juga ya (^_^) ). Jika permainan sulap dimainkan oleh seorang guru (master), sulap dapat mengesankan suatu pertunjukan dengan efek luar biasa yang tidak dapat diterima oleh logika. Oleh karena itu, di dunia Barat seorang pesulap dijuluki dengan nama keren yaitu Magician. Ada yang ingin jadi Magician? ini solusinya . . . !
Sulap itu bisa dipelajari kok, asalkan rajin berlatih dengan baik. Asah terus trik dan metode permainan sulap kamu. Yang terpenting, gali terus potensi kamu, siapa tahu kamu bisa menciptakan trik-trik sulap baru yang lebih keren dan menarik. SAYA BISA, KAMU JUGA PASTI BISA!!!! Begini, lima langkah ini adalah ibarat sebuah anak tangga dan kamu harus menguasainya bertahap dari langkah satu sampai langkah lima. Kamu tidak bisa melompat karena langkah sebelumnya adalah dasar bagaimana kamu mencapai langkah terakhir, yaitu sukses menjadi seorang magician! Ya udah... main aja apa adanya. Percaya deh... mereka nggak bakalan tahu asal kamu latihan dan memainkannya dengan baik serta benar.

Coba dirasakan ketika kamu melihat atraksi-atraksi sulap, pasti awalnya sama saja... merasa AMAZING!! karena belum tahu caranya. Nah, sama dengan penonton kamu nantinya, mereka juga punya perasaan yang sama karena belum tahu bagaimana rahasianya . . .

2. Keyakinan
Langkah kedua adalah KEYAKINAN KAMU!!
Keyakinan kamu dalam memainkan segala macam trik sulap yang ada menjadi sebuah pondasi awal sikap kamu.
Lho kok bisa?
Ya, gampang aja.. Klo kamu tidak yakin bisa merubah warna kartu, bagaimana penonton yakin kalau kamu bisa merubah warna kartu?
Keyakinan yang dimaksud di sini adalah KEYAKINAN POSITIF BAHWA KAMU BISA!
Keyakinan bahwa kamu mampu menjadi seorang pesulap
Keyakinan bahwa kamu mampu menampilkan sesuatu yang luar biasa
Keyakinan bahwa kamu berbeda dibandingkan dengan orang lain kebanyakan.
Jadi, yakin aja, pasti bisa!! Karena kamu sudah latihan..
3. Tunjukan saja
Salah satu aspek yang paling pentink saat menampilkan sebuah efek permainan sulap (perform)!
Kenapa?
Sebuah tips lama mengatakan bahwa bila kamu mengatakan apa yang akan kamu lakukan akan membuka peluang penonton mencari-cari cara yang kamu lakukan. Namun, saya pribadi menambahkan bahwa sebagai pesulap, pantang bagi kamu saat memainkan sebuah trik mengatakan apa yang akan kamu lakukan. Hal ini akan menghilangkan kata 'WOW' dan 'SEMPURNA' di hasil akhirnya. Ingat tujuan utama dari sebuah permainan sulap adalah menghibur orang lain sehingga penting ditanamkan bagai mana membuat orang lain terhibur dan tersenyum!
4. Latihan dan persiapan
Tips ini memang terkesan klise, tapi tips ini memang masih berguna sampai sekarang!
Kenapa?
Kenapa?
Karena tidak ada seorang pun yang sukses tanpa adanya sebuah persiapan dan latihan. Nah! termasuk bagi kamu yang ingin menampilkan permainan sulap, selalu latihan dan persiapkan segala sesuatunya.
Berlatihlah agar terbiasa, misalnya kami selalu membawa satu pak kartu remi ke mana-mana, agar disela-sela waktu kami bisa berlatih memainkan kartu dimana saja dan kapan saja.
PERCAYALAH!!
Semakin kamu melatih trik, maka permainan sulap kamu akan semakin alami!
Persiapkan segalanya, misalnya bila ingin menampilkan sebuah trik, kamu harus bayangkan dulu :
- Nanti saya pertama kali tampil perkenalannya bagaimana?
- Berbicara apa?
- Posisi berdiri saya bagaimana?
- Apa yang saya katakan?
- Bagaimana membuat penonton tertawa?
- Bagaimana mengalihkan perhatiannya?
- Hingga bagaimana saya menutup penampilan saya agar penonton terkesan!?
Tips ini kelanjutan dari tips sebelumnya di atas sehingga mutlak bila kamu harus menguasai nomor empat di atas . . !
Berpikiran maju adalah bagaimana kita selalu sudah mempersiapkan segala sesuatunya, misalnya :
- Bagaimana bila penonton mulai menerka-nerka apa yang kita lakukan?
- Bagaimana jika penonton meminata kita menunjukan ulang sekali lagi?
- Bagaimana kalau ada yang mau mengerjai kita?
- Bagaimana ya cara kita agar bisa mengatasi itu semua?
Sangat mudah!
Selalu persiapkan minimal 3 trik permainan sulap! Walaupun tidak semua ditampilkan sehingga kamu punya senjata banyak sebagai cadangan.
Dan kelima trik di atas adalah prinsip dasar yang kami ciptakan dan formulasikan berdasarkan pengalaman pribadi serta dikombinasikan dengan teori-teori sulap lainnya. Dan penting bagi kamu yang ingin bermain sulap adalah PRAKTEK . . . PRAKTEK . . . dan PRAKTEK . . .
